Definitely Not Flowing

I'd like to believe that rivers could flow to the sea, That every river just keeps going going going, But I know that many freeze beside highways, Or dry up underneath mountains, Or settle for lakes and ponds and just give up. And some rivers, Perhaps the strongest of them all, Are swallowed up by nameless gods, Searching for a way to quench their leeching anger.

Character Name: Allegiance. Age: Adult, not yet middle-aged. Race: Angel, fallen from grace. Gender: Male. Appearance: Tall, bright and winged in his true form, as any good angel should be. Blonde, green eyes. Can become invisible at will. Is trapped in a human body for disobeying God. History: An angel who used to work for the Divine Will, but was made with an uncanny aversion to unity or conformity. He lets his fear get the better of him and flees heaven to earth, where he feels that he can become an object of worship, an object of distinction. God as his punishment made it so that when he set foot on the earth he would become trapped
